Hello!
Today’s card is actually 3 cards featuring the Summer Flowers stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. I wanted to use the set in three different ways to get more mileage from the stamps.
This first attempt is Clean & Simple card using Copic Markers on 120# Simon Says Stamp white cardstock.
This colorful version is more of a Shabby Chic style with lots of layers and torn edges. I used Derwent Inktense pencils in purple and pink to give this a real feminine feel. Chunky glitter, glossy accents and some shimmer add plenty of sparkle. This was fun to make.
The close up shows a bit more of the dimension on this card.
Finally, this artistic version was a bit of a struggle. I used the “smooshing” technique with Distress Ink, but found I couldn’t quite control the color placement. In the end, I think it came out okay, even if I did have to help it a bit with a paint brush ;-).
I finished the card with a black layer of cardstock to help frame the piece.
All of the cards feature sentiments from the Thoughtful Messages stamp set.
Thank you for dropping by today! I’m happy to give more details, just let me know in the comments.
Enjoy!
Stephanie
