Gina K Designs Autumn Wreath Builder in Action

Thanks for joining me today!  I have a video up that shows how to use the Gina K Designs Wreath Builder Template and the Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set.

The GKD Wreath Builder Template requires a stamp positioner. This will keep the stamp in the same place, while the cardstock is moved in a defined pattern.  Other helpful items include pre-cut squares of 3-3/4″ or 4″ cardstock for stamping.

I also found it helpful to have a diecut circle to use for placing stamps to start the wreath shape.  Since the Circle Frame stamp in the Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set is 2″ in diameter, I punched out a 2″ piece of cardstock to use for stamp positioning.

I used the circle diecut to either trace a circle on the project lightly with a pencil, or to temporarily adhere to the final project until I got my stamp lined up.

A circle of any size can be used. I only used 2″ because it is the size of the circle frame or sentiment that I planned to use for the center of the wreath.

The Wreath Builder Template is easy to use. Just stamp your image then turn your cardstock to the next slot, lining up the top corner. Keeping track of your top corners are helpful when your project is larger than either 3-3/4″ or 4″ and won’t fit into the template.  As long as 1 corner fits into the Template and you know what “slot” of the template that corner goes next, stamping a wreath on a larger piece of paper is not a problem.

Gina K Designs Autumn Wreath Builder set is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving.  When paired with the GKD Autumn ink and cardstock collection, I was able to create napkin rings, a bottle topper and a card with this set that will be perfect for Thanksgiving or as a hostess Thank You gift set.

The wonderful thing about the Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set, is that it is very usable for other times of the year. I varied the colors of ink and came up with wreaths that would be relevant to spring, summer, winter and Christmas.  I also added dots with Stickles, Ranger’s Liquid Pearls and a Sakura Glaze Pen (gel ink) for interest and texture.

Stay tuned for the next video and I will wrap it up with 5 Tips and Tricks for using the Gina K Designs Autumn Wreath Builder Stamp Set.

Thank you for coming by!  I am always happy to answer questions or here what types of projects you want to see more of.
