Hello!

While waiting patiently for the next installment of the Simon Says Stamp card kit (October) to arrive in my mailbox, I actually made a card with the wonderful stamps, embellishments and papers in the September kit.  You really need to treat yourself to these card kits. They are well put together and have all the stuff you need to create several great cards.

Banners were cut on my Silhouette machine using the My Mind’s Eye Chalk Studio papers and shapes in the 6 Banner Set cut file available from SilhouetteOnlineStore.com (Design ID #20957).

The flowers at the bottom were stamped in white pigment ink (included in the kit) and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The flowers and Thank You sentiment are part of the “Journey of Life” clear stamp set included in the kit.  The dashed lines were drawn around the sentiment using a white gel pen and the banner stencil included in the kit. See, this kit IS full of awesome stuff!

The only things I used that were not in the kit are: white string, white embossing powder (for the sentiment), white gel pen and small rhinestones and pearls.

 I will post a card later this week using the NEW October card kit by Simon Says Stamp.
